Post-Doctoral Fellowship Position Available
The BrainFit Lab at the University of Toronto, in collaboration with SickKids – The Hospital for Sick Children is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow for a study entitled: Neuroimaging of Dual Task Performance in Youth After Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI).
At the BrainFit lab our goal is to help the brain achieve peak performance following brain injury. To accomplish this we are doing research to better understand recovery from brain injury in children and youth.
The purpose of the study is to:
1) To evaluate performance on a dual-task paradigm for mTBI versus non-mTBI youth long-term (3-6 months) post-injury.
2) To examine the neural substrates associated with a dual-task paradigm in mTBI versus non-mTBI youth long-term (3-6 months) post-injury using functional magnetic resonance imaging.
The Postdoctoral Fellow will be contracted to work for approximately 18 months beginning as soon as possible. Salary will be according to CIHR requirements. This study is funded by the Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation.
