The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will work and train in a basic science laboratory site of the Johns Hopkins Cystic Fibrosis Translational Center with Dr. Pamela L. Zeitlin, Professor of Pediatrics. Molecular and Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, and Physiology are applied to studies of chloride channels, chaperones, protein degradation, inflammation, transgenic mouse models, and cultured cell lines. The position is funded 100% by the U.S. Government and requires only U.S. citizens or green card holders to apply.
Qualifications: PhD in Basic Science.
Experience: Previous bench laboratory experience preferred.
Commitment: Two years; 2nd year appointment depends upon 1st year success.
